Laying Instructions for Coverall®

Using masking tape, mark out the designated areas to be surfaced and brush clean. Ensure area is dry.

Stir liquid asphalt well.

Slowly pour contents from the pail onto the old surface.

Working within the masking tape and keeping the majority of material in front of your brush, push the liquid asphalt across the area being treated, leaving the thinnest coat possible. You will tread on the newly laid material at this stage.

Backbrush to remove footprints and to unify finished appearance.
NOTE: Until experienced only lay one pail at a time as backbrushing must be done immediately after application for best results.

Do not traffic until totally dry.

For very rough areas a second coat may be applied. However, do not use for making up levels.

For estimating purposes 1 litre of Coverall will seal an area approximately 0.5m2 to 1m2 depending on the surface condition and porosity.
